Anyone have any awesome tips for keeping your vehicle smelling fresh?  Got a new truck and a long daily commute, so obviously, I want to get in some smoke time.  Activated charcoal and dryer sheets look promising.  How about gadgets like this?

Try taking a sandwich sized piece of Tupperware, punch holed in the top, and fill it 3/4 full of baking soda. Stash a few of the under the seats & it will do wonders by absorbing odors. Also, close your A/C vents & don't run any HVAC while you are actually smoking ( the smoke gets sucked into the vents and become impossible to clean !)

Turn on the ventilation at max, no recycling air, open your window a crack and confirm most of the smoke is going out of the car. Add the smell removal as advcdd and voila

There is no way to completely avoid the cigar residue and smell. It will linger no matter what you do to some extent.

Not if you smoke in a convertible with the top down. I have zero residue.

Just don't do it. I never smoke in any vehicle or inside my house. Porch, garage, cigar lounge, any place outdoors YES!

When am driving my convertible the last thing I need in my hands is a cigar. A blonde maybe, but the driving gloves would get wet!

Sunroof is the way to go.  I knew that after I wrecked my Toyota truck last winter (spun out hit a barrier on an ice patched highway) that I would buy

something with a sliding sun roof.  Yes it cost a little more but great to have if you smoke stoogies!

Again, sunroofs are awesome, but not required.

Smoke in all my vehicles. Don’t recirculate the air and put a mesh bag with some coffee beans under the seat. Can’t tell the difference.

Of course, I have two 100lb dogs...so cigar smoke is low on the list of smells I’m concerned about in my cars

I sold my lotus Elise and now drive an E550 convertible - where I live, there is a lot of "opportunity" to stand still in traffic and that's when I sometimes light up. Would much prefer the blonde

Nice Duetto - one of my favorite Alfas. Would be a chore to drive it in traffic in the heat, though.

I keep both front windows open, all the way down when slow or stopped at a light.  AC on.  I keep all windows open when I park in the garage.  I don't smoke in the car often but this works for me, i.e. passes the wife test.  Will try sunroof next time.

I have a 17 Ford Lariat and I have smoked in it since day 1. Leather interior helps IMO. I go with window down and sunroof open quite often. Not really stinky in my truck unless you leave the ash can full or leave a stub in the can.

This is key IMO
