Punch RS11: Stopwatch Corona Gorda

Perfect draw.

Dark rough wrapper.

Aroma from the box is legen... wait for it... dary!

 

 

I've heard claims that RS11 and Punch Punch is the same cigar... What a bunch of bollocks!

Punch Punch is a good smoke but RS11 is its darker, more complex and stronger cousin.

If Punch Punch wears a suit and tie, RS11 wears a leather jacket, jeans and boots.

 

1/3 Strong opening. Thick smoke loaded with the darkest of chocolate, cedar and raisins.

2/3 More dark chocolate. Pleasantly bitter. Burn is a bit off but no worries.

3/3 Chocolate continues. More cedar again. Smooth but powerful. Ending bitterness reminds me of a good hopped up IPA.

 

Smoking time: 1hr 2min.

Had it since it was a baby. I do believe it was Smithy that picked the box for me.
The first years these were so nicotine packed smoking one I usually ended up with a major buzz in the head. Much smoother now.

Agree wholeheartedly. My order of preference for my Punch CGs was always the SS2, then RS11, and the Punch Punch. It's a terrible shame the SS2 and RS11 have been eliminated, they are sorely missed.
