Popular Post backbone Posted June 26, 2017 Popular Post Posted June 26, 2017 "The Diplonatico Bushido was created by PCC to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the first Japanese citizen to visit Cuba. During the Keicho mission, samurai Hasekura Tsunenaga stopped in Cuba (then part of New Spain) on his way to the Vatican in Rome. Vitola/Size 109 50 x 184 (7.2#)" Quoted from Rob. This was an amazing complex smoke! It Is my #1 of the year for sure! Even though these are "fresh" they are super approachable now. The construction was flawless, the draw was perfect, the burn razor. The first third had a slight pepper taste with a light coffee spine to it along with a toffee hint. The end of the first and the start of the second has loads of crème and woodiness in a rich smooth thick smoke. The final third had more pepper creep back in and it finally shows a touch of youth here. 95pts I am really excited to see the evolution over the next 5 years, although it is going to be tough to keep my mitts off them. Cheers! All Powerful Bushido!!! 5
BuzzArd Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 I have one. Just one. I'da joined you in reviewing it, but I didn't have enough time to smoke it this weekend. Thanks for sharing. I'll look forward to trying it this fall perhaps. 2
