Hello All,

As I've found it very helpful from other members (in other threads) just thought I'd give a quick stock update with regards to Geneva (and surrounding areas) as to what aged stock is about. As I don't want to name any suppliers for forum rules PM me, if you want to know more.

I will add the caveat that I didn't get to Gerards, at the day we passed it was closed (gutted)

So multiple boxes that are available dated between 2000-2008 are as follows

- Sancho Panza (Molinos, and Non plus)

- San Cristobal (El Morro)

- Upmann Petit Coronas

- Punch Coronas

- Juan Lopez  Petit Coronas

- Saint Luis Rey Churchills

This list, is the single boxes I'd seen

- El rey del Mundo Tainos

- Hoyo des Dieux ( 2000  50 cab!!!!!!)

- Hoyo Double Coronas  (50 cab)

- Punch Royal Selection No 11

- Hoyo Du Gourmet

- Punch Super selection No 2 ( 50 Cab)   ( pretty smashed up)

Had an absolutely wonderful time, I would definitely recommend getting out of Geneva to the surrounding areas of Nyon and Lausanne, absolutely beautiful.

Some highlights were an amazing meals at 'Le Bistrot du Beouf Rouge'  and wonderful Lebanese food at "Parfums de Beyrouth".  The Patek Philippe museum was also pretty cool.

I would recommend buyer beware caution for stock in Geneva. I witnessed some idiot tourists handling cigars very carelessly and damaging stock, and saw quite a few damaged cabs where people had shunted and crushed cedar inner dividers into cigars beneath!!. Im sure all these issues would be checked prior to any dispatch, but its always a consideration when thinking of buying cigars that are open to the public.

Happy Hunting!

Beautiful city and surrounding areas.  Much more tropical around the lake than many would suspect.

Yep especially the Botanical gardens!.   No, in all seriousness I completely know what you mean, I think Lausanne was a hotspot for the Victorians as a sort of a 'wellness' destination, and you can definitely get a feel of that. Very lush and relaxing. The fountains on every street corner was a blessing as well, to flush all that vin rouge through the system!!.

CH white wine or rose is more popular and more produced than red wine.  I like the Neuchatel &  Bielersee wines...  Well, I do have family in Biel, so maybe that's why?  Did you eat any fondue or horse?

Got addicted to the red Gamaret in the first few days and didnt look back. I did try a few whites and although I was impressed, i struggle to eat with white unless its cold shellfish.

No horse or fondu sadly. Ive had horse yakiniku in Japan and was blown away. One of the tastiest meats. And sadly not really available in the UK
