* Adolph Hitler reputedly did not smoke - at all;  did not drink alcohol - at all. AND supposedly didn't eat meat.  If he'd have had a coke and a smile, a big prime rib dinner, and a fine Havana seegar afterwards he might've been able to set down somewhere!

The golf course was not invented to knock around a little white ball, but to have a place and excuse to smoke a fine cigar......

I have not been able to verify what follows, but it's a good one!

Pope St. Pius X was a cigar smoker, and he probably puffed Tuscan ones.  A bishop, making his ad limina visit to the Vatican, was received by the Pope, who proffered him a cigar.  "I don't have that vice, Your Holiness."  To which the Holy Father responded, "If it were a vice, I wouldn't offer you one.  In any case, you have far worse vices!"
