mwaller Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 If so, were you successful in creating anything that resembles your favorite Habanos? I'm going to try to grow a few varieties this year, including Corojo 99. I'm a complete novice at this, so it will be an adventure. Any success or horror stories?
dominattorney Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 20 bucks on horror stories. I'm also interested to hear this. However, to answer your question, do any of the Dominican or Nicaraguan options available for sale "resemble your favorite Habanos?" I'd say no, but that's just me. And these guys know what they're doing.
Jimmy_jack Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I tried growing cigars once. It was terrible. They just wont blossom correctly here. 3

You must not be doing it right. If you use the right fertilizer, I hear they mature with triple bands already applied! 5

You could argue that Australia continues to be a penal colony, based on our treatment of "illegal" refugees.
