What a bummer! ELP has always been a bellwether of progressive rock. ELP bridged my love of classical and rock music... An acquired taste, probably, unique and expert musicianship, certainly; what a shame.

ELP was the first live concert i attended to, it was in 1977 at the Montreal Olympic Stadium i was 12 yo at the time. I spent most of my adolescence listening their music. This is indeed sad news.

I remember seeing a show with Greg Lake and Keith Emerson some years ago at Place Des Art in Montreal. It was also a great show. I remember Lake speaking to members of the audience and taking song requests they both seemed nice people.
