My only guess is that someone spent the whole day with this cigar in the mouth and in the end of the day put it back into the estuche.

Its just plume. Must be at least 72 years old. Must be a Anejado Supremos program that H S.A. set up back in the day and kept secret.

Sure, classic example of plume. Box had been stored with cigar heads down, oils migrating excessively due to gravity, exuding from the head and then crystallizing and forming a nice, protuberant bloom. Terminus technicus in cigar science for this is the famous and much sought-after corona or gloriole bloom.
