LandCruiser Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Brilliant, thanks for posting... hope to smoke a Lusi like this at some point
TheMonk Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Very nicely done, and I completely agree! Aged Lusis are fantastic, it really doesn't get much better then that. 1

Right after watching this, the mailman came and brought me my box of Lusi`s from 24:24 Not a bad start to the day 1
luv2fly Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Great review. Hope to age some though they most likely will not make it 20 years.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk be very careful. i looked high and low for a great box of lusi's (don't even recall seeing a cab) when i was last there. opened countless boxes. eventually found a cracker, but it was one from dozens.
Ken Gargett Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 i think it is a barometer charting the decline of western civilisation (if indeed barometers can chart) that our outtakes now exceed the actual video. the fish was not quite dead but i would not have been keen to eat it. would have been lucky to last the day.
Popular Post Ken Gargett Posted October 29, 2016 Popular Post Posted October 29, 2016 BARRY!!! on an 8-weight. the guide took one of my GT flies, cut off most of the feathers though no idea why, and tied it below the bonefish fly with a small wire trace (i thought it odd he tied it below but it might have been to save time in case the fish moved on). first cast a bit wide of the fish but he followed it to the punt - a little unnerving. second cast not quite so wide but i will swear, to my dying day, that the fish hit it before it hit the water. never seen anything so quick. and then off to the horizon. had been told they make one big run and then are basically stuffed. barry had not read the script. run after run. lazaro, my guide (if you have seen robson green fishing in cuba or almost any flyfishing show in cuba then you would have seen lazaro) got in the water, about wedding tackle deep, to help guide the exhausted fish in and grab it. barry took one look at lazaro and set off for the family jewels. lazaro screaming at me to turn the fish, i'm yelling back i am trying, and barry forged on. missed the involuntary vasectomy by millimetres. . 5

Came back with great cab's of Punch Punch and RASS from Partagas when I was there in September. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

backbone Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Great catch Ken! Those cudas are FAST! I saw one rush a tuna and bite the tail off, then took its time eating the body of the tuna. I want to see the bonefish pics as well!

CigSid Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 Great review! What is funny Ken, is I smoked an RyJ LE from 2000 a few days before I smoked one of these, and thought it was a 100 point cigar, then I smoked this one which was even better... So the RyJ must have been only 99 points 1
