it is a stunner (yes, i was going to get around to posting). sent to me by a mate i met in cuba on the last trip when we were chasing bones. alex runs the amberjack fly fishing site - it is a terrific site with a heap of brilliant videos and pieces from all over the world.

turns out, from other mates, that one of the legendary guides in the seychelles is jono shales who also runs a flyfishing business out of exmouth. have a look at this one as well. brilliant stuff.

Great stuff Gents!

There is nothing like sight fishing in shallow water with a fly rod.

Im lucky to be able to do it twice a week!

That is a nicely done video. Gets the juices flowing and shows tackle can be destroyed by monster fish. Thanks for posting. Now to get the rod out and start practicing!

Looks amazing. Surprisingly I grew up on the Everglades in south Florida, went fishing in the keys all my child hood. Moved over here to Tampa Bay and bought an offshore boat. Been very underwhelmed with my luck offshore fishing, convinced the wife to let me get a flats boat and can't wait to find one so I can get back into skinny water fishing.

Used to fish for wild rainbow trout in my home state of CT on these very small streams and rivers where

just you braking a twig will spook them.  Love to go after bone in key west and Bahamas.  Did get some

barricuda in Nassu.

Grew up in Bradenton....  All through high school I coveted every Hewes Redfisher I saw.  Thought one day I'd have one.  Made due fishing off seawalls and any beach in the Manatee River I could access for snook, reds and trout.  I'd run up and down the river in my 12' jon boat doing the same.  Never did get that  Hewes....

Still, maybe one day....
