For the love of all that is holy, the Lions lost to the pitiful Bears!  How on earth do you lose to a crap team, using their backup QB no less?  It is simply stunning, I've never seen such ineptitude.  The stench of losing is rife in the Lion's organization...perpetual losers smelling up the place with their perpetual losing.  My head hurts.  Cheers.

Oh tell me about it. Denver is ahead but sacks have been going back and forth with Denvers QB Trevor Seimian just got carted to the locker room.

You get to lose by being worse than the Bears. As hard as that was for both of us to watch. Together, you and I could have beaten either team on our own. As a Chicago boy, now I get to watch the Red Wings play the Blackhawks. Is it time for a two for Sunday?

Looks like we were not so lucky but it's still preseason. I am going to the regular season game in Chicago. Buy a ticket, meet me at the game and we can grab a smoke earlier in the day.

The Raiders are 3-1! If they keep it up, I'm going to start drinking again, and get stabby and challenging people to fights I can't win. Glory days are here!

Sorry about your Lions, Sean. I thought they'd be better.

Thanks Danimalia, your team seems to be on an upswing, I'm hearing good things about Derrick Carr.  Incidentally, the only NFL game I ever went to was a Raiders game back when I was in the Navy.  They were in LA if memory serves, and I got to see Bo Jackson.

One beating should suffice today, lol.  Don't get me started on the Red Wings!

There goes a potential bandwagon, lol.  Geez, who's the backup?

Paxton Lynch who pulled in an excellent 2nd half.

My wretched team lost to your wretched team, and just lost again yesterday to the previously winless Jaguars.  Although I'm mostly done with the NFL anyway, so I'm not too upset about it.  The only NFL I've watched all year was last week when I was in a cigar lounge, and didn't have much of a choice.  Not having to worry about the NFL and freeing up Sunday afternoons is brilliant.

Hear hear. Although I was never  able to fully disengage all the years the raiders were bad, I totally respect the fans that have ditched the NFL to do other things with their Sundays

Ive got the Cavs Game 7 of the NBA finals saved on my DVR and the Tribe are in the playoffs, those two are the only things I have to wash the putrid stink off the Browns from my mind every Sunday.

This week we get Tom Brady in his first game back, coming off a loss.  Should go great.

I like Paxton Lynch. As a Raiders fan, that means I hate him. I think he will be a good player. I thought the Broncos played the offseason perfectly. Didn't panic and overpay in terms of trade assets when Osweiler left. They just let it play out, and had the preseason #1 draft prospect fall to them late in the first round. I'd hoped they'd fall apart

I've always kind of liked the Tribe. If the Giants can't win it all, I'd like to see them or the Cubs end their respective droughts.

Woe is me...what it must be like to have a competent front office!
