Hello guys and gals

Last night, after smoking a delicious psd4, I had a strange hot/cold sensation in the chest are. The sensation, feeling was similar to after a sprint run. It happened once before with an Upmann no.1 also. The discomfort went away after about a day the first time, it's fading away again now. I might have inhaled some smoke by mistake I thinking..

Has this happened to any of you? Just curious to know what it could be...

Cheers

I would suggest that you go see your doctor right away. It might be nothing but you never want to take the risk.

Never happened to me.

Hard to say it was because of the cigar as it happened just once before.

Sure, some exams and a doc dont soynd bad. Of course he will say smoking is bad and you should atop but the exams could show something.

symptoms lasting a day are serious enough to see a doctor.

I do not think  inhaling a little smoke would bother you for a day,,,

My doctor told me I should eat better and lose weight. This after watching him walk through the waiting room double fisting McDonalds take out bags.

I would definitely have a check up if it didn't go away quickly. I once had serious chest pains...stabbing, couldn't breathe. Went right away...they said it was indigestion. Whatever.

I guess it's not something that happens in general. I booked an appointment with the family doctor this week. Thanks for your replies guys. :peace:

i would strongly agree. get checked out immediately.

the indigestion comment interesting - when my dad had his first big heart attack, they asked how long since the first one. he insisted, as we all did, he never had one. they said the tests showed otherwise. only thing we could think of was years earlier when he had a really bad, he thought, case of indigestion when driving home from the coast. they say the symptoms often similar.

but i am sure we have medical people on here who could make suggestions (and i'll bet a box of coro those suggestions involve getting checked out asap).

No cause for alarm but getting checked out is a great idea. I should note that I am not a medical doctor despite my handle. My wife had what she thought was indigestion while we were preparing to leave for the airport to fly from London to the states. She was a little confused and I made the call to go to the ER instead. Two days later she had a couple stints put in her heart. She is now fine and all is well. When in doubt, check it out. Let us know what the medicos find and don't see "Alien" until you've had the exam.
