dicko Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 This box i thought was older. I only have a few left The cold draw is soy bean drink (soft drink cans like you get from asian grocers) and black tea.First third is excellent. Thick smoke. Easy draw but not too easy. Espresso flavours and coffee cream. First third i smoked far too quickly. Paying for it a bit so ive slowed down. 2nd third retains the coffee flavour but now its a bit creamier. Cohiba spice as well (more chilli than black pepper to my taste). Some earth and barnyard.Construction is good but the ash is a bit flakey and burn is a bit off. Only small corrections required. Smoke output has gone down even a bit wispy heading to 3rd third.Last third picks up again flavour wise. Coffee bean and now some vanilla comes in. I find it interesting when a cigar gets sweeter later in the piece. However I let it go out with an inch to go as flavours have got slightly bitter.Overall a very good cigar. Not the best from this box. Reasonably complex. Lost its way a bit in the middle but started and ended well.I would score it a 91.Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk 1
Bohn007 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Well done. I wonder if some of the issues were age related and that they might go away with some aging. 1
