The 15 pack (actually was a 25 box....thanks for the help guys) has produced some of the most amazing and frustrating smokes in my humidor (65 deg; 65rh).  There have been 4 that were plugged; however, the one's that aren't plugged are fantastic and definitely in the top 5 sticks in my humidor (Here are the others...HPM Mag 46 2008; Monte 2 2012; Dip 2 2014; Cohiba Prim xtr 2012).

Luckily, this Tubos #2 tonight was one of the best I've had in the bunch.  Maybe I'm just a rookie (been taking the CC dive for the last 18 months) but this stick from 2013 is ridiculous.  I've been trying to find another 15 pack (should be 25 box...thanks guys for helping me) with same box code but have had no luck.  Would love to hear any thoughts that you all have concerning the review or any recommendations that might help me discern the different tasting notes.

Construction: This one was at first glimpse a little on the veiny side with a couple of little blemishes at the foot (which I think caused an uneven burn during first 1/3) and the top.  Overall looked like the others in the pack and I didn't feel any plugs on the cigar.  Cigar was filled completely; no real soft or empty spots

Nose: I'm still pretty new at this but it seems to be earth, leather....maybe some burnt wood or toast.

Pre light Draw: In my estimation just about perfect for these.  I've had some that were so tight that I couldn't even smoke them but this one was fantastic and no one in my country is more excited about a cigar right now then me getting ready to light this one.

Initial Light:  Drawl is fantastic; this one takes off right from the beginning with lots of spice and pepper; seems to be a hint of creamy caramel in the background that barely lingers.  I think back immediately to the last one I had and can't wait for the next 70 minutes.

First 1/3: Drawl is still fantastic.  Pepper most of the way through; lost of earth.  Nice, thick smoke.  Would say its a touch over medium body during this first 1/3.  Burn is a little uneven do to some construction issues on the foot.  As first 1/3 is ending I can begin to sense the cigar is getting ready to get in to a higher gear.

Second 1/3: Pepper and spice has backed off.  To my limited experience the classic bolivar flavor has completely set in.  Lots of earth, tobacco, and depth.  Well over medium and moving toward full at this point.  Just an absolutely amazing smoke.  Not on every drawl but on a couple it just lingers and lingers and lingers.  Starts off very rich and earthy but then lingering in to some sweetness.  I'm not sure if its a touch of coffee or just roasted nuts.  Its Fantastic.

Final 1/3: Such a complex smoke based upon my limited experience.  Rich and full of earth that I've found to be classic to Bolivar but also has hints of sweet nuts and coffee at this point.  So hard not to put all I have left away for aging and can only hope I can find some more of these.

Final Review:  I'm not sure if there is another smoke in my humidor I would rather have if I knew ahead of time that the drawl was going to be as good as this one.  Because of that and the minor construction issues, and the uneven burn during the first 1/3 and final 1/3 I give this a 93-94 (but could certainly move to 95-96 over next few years).  70 minute smoke.

Thanks for any thoughts or feedback!

This is my favorite cigar and has remained consistent for the past 10+ years.  However, 15 pack?  I have never seen one of those.  Thought they only came in box of 25.  I always nub these.  The flavors I get outta them is a leathery, meaty, apricot if that makes sense.

Great smoke and great review.

You won't find any because this cigar comes only in boxes of 25…

Thanks!  I'm sure that's how they came; been so long I just assumed it was 15 since it was a tube.  Still haven't found any in 2013 since that box

Great smoke and great review.

Your right about 15....it's 25.  My mistake; still new to the game guys; only couple years in.

Great review.  Very similar to the petite corona.

The ULA Bolivars from 14 are very good also!

No worries.  I have a MUR AGO 13 box that is good.  Only 19 left.  I like the OGA 12's & TEB 08's a little better, but the MUR are in my top 3 for the last 10 years.  Prez has been putting up Tubos #1 & 3 (a nice treat), but not yet #2s.

I have never had a plugged boli PC or #2 tubo so that is pretty bad luck for you.  Better to have a plugged $4-6 cigar than $20-50 cigar.  If a more reasonably priced cigar is plugged it is easier to ditch it and light another.

good luck winning the review competition.  Rest assured, due to your review, I will light-up one of these gems today or tomorrow.
