My first RASS

Recommended Posts

If you like chocolate and/or coffee notes and have a preference for sweeter flavours, you may eventually find yourself sampling some San Cristobal de La Habana, Cohiba Maduro 5 and even Montecristo cigars and enjoying those.

In the Robusto sampler I hope you enjoy the Vegas Robaina Famosos, not as strong as the Ramon Allones Specially Selected, but will most probably suit your palate.

Thanks John! I'll try that next. I've also got a monte 4 resting

What a great photo, Padron.  And I'm sorry to hear you've wandered down that dark ally.  There's no going back.  You're on the road to ruination, my friend, and the Poor House is your next stop.  :dollarsign::dollarsign::party::lol3::lol3::lol3:

Try some Por Larranaga Monte Carlos and Panatelas.  You will be amazed at the flavor from such a small ring gauge cigar.  True Cuban cream flavor.

Congrats on the RASS tasting! I find them to be excellent, consistent performers, and one of the better bang-for-your-buck cigars in the CC market.  I will second the Montecristo cigars recommendation, especially if you enjoy more of an unsweetened or semi-sweet cocoa flavor profile.  Just make sure you get good ones.  I've been unimpressed on the whole with the Montes coming out of Cuba recently.  Good ones, however, are excellent.  If you get the Monte 4 bug, be extra careful not to get boxes blind.  There are so many issues with plugs or just stale, flat flavors.  A great Monte 4 is truly something, and another huge value.

That was a beautiful view as well! I love the city, I always try and go a couple times a year. Is that the GWB or Brooklyn Bridge?

Enjoy your smokes!

Thanks for the advice Jones will do! That's actually the Verazzano, hate driving over it, love sitting under it :)
