RijkdeGooier Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Agreed @Fugu. This holds true for ring gauges 42 and under in general. For best results a gentle smoking technique is required.

Don't let the people responsible off the hook. Make sure they know they have screwed up another skinny because of incompetence. I agree with you mate. Tabacuba gets away with all too much of this stuff and way too many people give them a pass. You want your product viewed as a high-end product, then God-damned make it one!!! -Ray 1
luv2fly Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 If enough of the customers get fed up with crappy product, maybe there will be a change. I pay good money and expect a good product.
Fugu Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 You people are funny - so, do I read that correctly? Long and skinnies are difficult to make - Cuba doesn't get the hang of it - they are essentially crap - so vote with your wallet if you don't like them (did I already mention they are crap?)..... - discontinued! Voila! That's exactly the very effect that you people are constantly mourning about. Check it out and decide what you want! There are so, so many easy-smokes today, and with each release there are more. Why not take all your Robos and DoubleRobos, your Edmundos, your fatty Petits and Shorts and Halfs, be happy and simply leave the rest to those who appreciate them and who make sure they will remain in production, but please don't unjustifyingly bash them out of ignorance! Well, we are late to the party anyway, the OP's Molinos has already been axed,...along with the Clásicos, the Inmensas, the HUL, HU1, the SLRL, the RGL, ERDML, the PartiL, the .., the ... xyz.... ... .. .. Poking a long dead horse, I guess... 1

luv2fly Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Fugu, I do love your insight. You do not sugar coat your thoughts. Food food for thought my friend. 1

Poking a long dead horse, I guess... One word: fashion. That which has been discontinued can be revived. And will be revived, sooner or later. Fashion demands it. Male facial hair. Bell bottoms and platform shoes. Vinyl. Prawn cocktails. I am betting that sooner or later, cigar makers will rediscover the joys of skinny cigars and we will have a plethora of them hitting the market -- Cuban, non-Cuban, in all shades of wrappers and at least two barber pole wrappers, with and without pigtails. Thin will be the new fat. Cigar Aficionado will write long articles on the long and rich heritage of skinny cigars being rediscovered and re-imagined by a new generation of cigar makers. Such is the power of the marketplace, and I trust it...
