El Presidente Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Should be a great series with a few Aussies in it to boot! Being a perennial underdog supporter.....I would love to see Cleveland have a winning team....in anything How do you think the series will go down?
sactochris Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 I'm a hundred miles East of Oakland, so I have to go with the Warriors. 3
coblos Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Glad to see the 2 teams arrived here with healthy rosters this time around. I'll be supporting the Cavs, you never know. Great players can have an off night too, foul trouble, injury ...shit happens, but the best nearly always wins out in a 7 game series and the better team is definately the Warriors. Both teams are probably going to play 'small ball' and no one does it better than the warriors. Not really a Bogut fan but I do like when Dellys on the court for the Cavs. He's a smart player, executes well on set pieces, plays good defence. 1
Overproof Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Green and Curry are real hard to defend. OKC did a decent job of catching the picks but I think Love will have a hard time on Green. I think the Cavs might just get there with some good bench rotations to get James open on the mismatch, dudes unstoppable. Cavs in 7, going to be a great series.
Orion21 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 The Cavs played nobody to get to the Finals. The Warriors did it with and without Curry against competition that would have beat the Cavs. It all comes down to match ups and the Cavs are going to have a hard time defending the Warriors. 3
Memphsdad Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Being as I have Warriors season tickets, go Warriors! 3

Such a fun team to watch, and I'm not even a basketball guy. It's a great time to be a sports fan in the Bay Area. If the Giants make the World Series this year, the Bay Area will have hosted all American major sports championships in calendar 2016. 2
Dimmers Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Should be an awesome series. Steph finally has his mojo back. Warriors in 6 2
LLC Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Don't want Cleveland to win but hope it is a good series going 6 or 7. 1
Miller1985 Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I have a serious dislike for Lebron, and think Curry is absolutely brilliant. Pulling for the Warriors. 1
Guest Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Not that I'm a fan, but I'll say Warriors in 4 games. They're just too good.
JohnS Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I think Warriors will win. I hope it's a close series! 2

CigarSeeker Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I'm hoping the worriors win.. it'll be a good finals though non the less. 1
ned Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 There are lots of arizona connections on both teams. But i am going with the Warriors. I love what steve kerr has done with them 1
Orion21 Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Game 1 said it all. The bench of the Warriors beat the Cavs starters by 15 points in game one. See ya Lebron! 1
Sophistic Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Cavs are not a top 3 team, east is still weak at the top 1
cigaraholic Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I was born in Oakland and live there now, so obviously I'm rooting for the Warriors! It would be a shame not to cap off the best regular season in NBA history without the crown ? 1

It would be a shame not to cap off the best regular season in NBA history without the crown ? It happens, though, with some regularity! Both 116-winning baseball teams (1906 Cubs and the 2001 Mariners) lost in the playoffs. And the most recent NFL perfect regular season record was of course the 2007 Patriots which lost the Super Bowl. And the 95-96 Red Wings, which hold the record for most regular season wins at 62, failed to reach the Stanley Cup finals. There may be other team sports in the world, but I don't know what they are.
stevem Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Game 1 the Cavs found a way to shutdown Steph & Clay, but had trouble dealing with the bench. A lot better than last year, while I root for the Warriors if Cav's bench finds a way to perform equal to Warriors we could go to 7 and it'll be the healthiest team that pulls off the win. dinoeggs Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Was rooting for the Cavs because Cleveland is due. However, the way they played last night, I don't believe they deserve to win. Didn't seem like a team, play like a team. I almost saw a flashback of how OKC lost the last 3 games. The first half was watchable but I turned it after the lead went to 20+ points.
joeboxer Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 After watching game 2 I have to say warriors in 5. I hope the cavs push them to 7 though.
Orion21 Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Match ups, match ups, match ups . . . Cleveland matches up HORRIBLY with the Warriors. They stayed with them and even led by 2-4 points in the first quarter, but then all their tricks were used up. When the Warriors put the petal to the metal the Cavs couldn't even compete! I was listening to the radio this morning and one expert said it only looked like the Warriors were playing all out for a few minutes a quarter, that's how good they are. With Steph healthy, Clay hitting 30 foot threes and Draymond scoring points the Cavs have no chance. They might win one game at home, but that's even in question. 2
