FCUBUCK Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 The chunk into the drink was brutal... Congrats to Danny Willett.. I've got that shot! 1
WhiteMamba Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 We all do when we're playing by ourselves but with millions of people watching and the masters on the line it's nearly impossible for any of us or at least me. My nerves can't take it.

Blazer Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Felt terrible for Jordan, that meltdown was hard to watch.
Webbo Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Danny is from my hometown and a local club. A really terrific lad, the type of person who deserves to be a champion and one who you can be sure will treat the honour responsibly and with proper dignity and manners. I had a few lessons many years ago from his coach, I think I will ask for my money back!
JohnS Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Jordan Spieth will comeback from this. All great players have these moments, perhaps not twice on one hole like the 12th, but he is only 22 and won 2 majors already. It wasn't that long ago that Rory McIlroy had a 77 for a second round at the 2014 Masters to be out of contention. He rallied to tie for 8th, at the US Open he finished tied for 23rd. He was good enough to subsequently win the British Open and U.S PGA that year. Rory McIlroy, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods are the only players to win three golf majors by the time they were 25. Jordan Spieth has won 2 and he is 23 in July this year. To put things in perspective, great players such as Phil Mickelson have won 5 and Ernie Els 4 golf majors. It's hard to win even three. Lee Westwood is the forgotten man of the 2016 Masters as he has won none. He came second again, and now at his age risks becoming, like Colin Montgomerie before him, the greatest current player to never win a golf major. 1
jackattack Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 I wouldn't bet against him in the next three majors....there is a fierce competitive spirit in that young man. I hope he can manage it at such a young age. He has had a little Keegan Bradley thing going on compared to last year...fidgeting, twitches, stepping away more than normal....he stands over shots a lot longer now. At 22, I would need seizure medication under those circumstances...
NicPac Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 I must say, I'm really impressed that not one person has posted something negative regarding his unfortunate situation. It can be found all over the net. But not here it seems. The guys around FOH are some class acts. Just like Jordan
