El Presidente Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 A few bottles of Pol Roger 1996 accompanied by Cohiba Siglo IV and a Upmann Monarch (Tang). Cooking a light BBQ on the Ponderosa for family and friends. Quiet affair, kids in the pool...lot's of laughter, good wine and fine cigars. A Happy New Year to all!!!
genevapics Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Are you kidding? I'm still suffering from a headcold I picked up on christmas day. I haven't even had my Christmas cigar yet. What a way to end the year... 0-2 in big cigar days. Oh well, hopefully I'll get a chance to light up on next wednesday when my Trojans hopefully beat the Longhorns. Happy New Year El Presidente. Enjoy the weather and the smokes. Think of those less fortunate than yourself on New Years Eve.:-D
jay8354 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 A light dinner at a friend's place with lots of food, wine and beer. After dessert will probably have a HDM LE Hoyo Des Dieux and some ice wine. During the countdown will have a bottle of Moet & Chandon with a Trinidad Fundadores. Followed by a Cohiba Siglo VI, if I can fit it in.
Ken Gargett Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 off to noosa for a mate's surprise birthday party. a couple of bottles of good fizz, some spanish reds and also a tang monarch (or one of the new slr dc's - have yet to try one). probably an edmundo as back up.
Colt45 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 If time and temps allow, I think I'll go with the time tested Montecristo #2
Ken Gargett Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 » If time and temps allow, I think I'll go with the time tested Montecristo » #2 had one night before last and as good as ever. really are so reliable.
dragon Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I'm gonna break open a 5-pack of Jose Piedra Brevas I've been saving, and unscrew the cap on a beautiful bottle of $4.00 german wine. I figure it's New Years, so why not splurge??

ME: dinner at friends with options of RyJ petit Pyramid EL, Sublime EL (gracias Prez, go the Tigers!), or a Mag 46.
spsurfin Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I think a Cohiba Sublime is going up in flames. It will be my first one.
Tampa1257 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Happy New Year to everyone! I am going to be sitting at home and not going out during amature night and watching some HD TV in Surround Sound smoking a La China Salomon that has been deep in the humidor for nearly three years now. Depending on my mood, I might also break out my last 96 Lusi that I have been saving. These have been the best I've smoked in the past 10 years.
cobra Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I'm working all night sewing scalps and dodging vomit. So its cold coffee and I may get crazy and crack open a Skoal wintergreen pouch with a late January 06 expiration comes midnight. But when I get home at 0800 I'm going to shoot off some leftover July 4th skyrockets and smoke a Sig IV. I hope the neighbors didn't drink too much the night before and can share my welcoming in of the new year. Happy New Year all !!!! :-D:sleeping:
JMH Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I'll be drinking pretty hard, so nothing special, a Punch Punch & a Party Short.
rumrogue Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 We are having a black tie jazz night in the ballroom with close mates. Miles & Coltrane. Champagne & rum. Birds in slinky low cut jobs. Some Lusi's & Edmundos. Dancing & laughter. Should be a great one. May all your wishes come true & have a great 2006. Happy New Year.
CIGARHead Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I hope all a you fellas have a Happy New Year! I have 4 bottles of Veuve Clicquot, boatload of rum and various other cocktails and some friends and family coming over. I thinnk Ill spark up that Monte Millenium Prez and them gave me as a freebie. Heres to another great and fruckin' hilarious year @ FoH!
Hoops Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Laying low at home with a Siglo VI and some Lagavulin... Happy New Year everyone! -Brian
CigarZen Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Happy New Years to El Prez, Lisa, Smithy, and all us FOHs. I am going to a friend's house for the celebration. Everybodies' kids will be there and will out number the adults, probably 30 or 40 kids. Yikes! So it will not be a smoking freindly environment. BUT the host, a cigar smoker, built a play house in his backyard for his daughters, and it is big enough for a few guys to sit in. He and I have conspired to ditch it out back and with a couple havanas and a bottle of bourbon. Smoking time is a question. Now if the wives are diverted we have Tangs lined up; if not, something quick that I don't mind prematurely extinguishing. That is my mission -- wish me luck.;-) ;-)

Yup Ken, I also had one last night, and it did NOT disappoint!! It is just a fantastic cigar!! I will probably have an RyJ Exhibicion #4.
Loki Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I think early on I'll meet with a good friend and enjoy a couple of late 90s Lusitainias, be home by 11pm and ring in the new year at home with some good snacks.
ironman Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Happy New year!!! Enjoying an 01 Lancero with a glass of port:-P
Andyman Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 just had my First Bolivar.. Boli RC this one was good but I think it was a little young. Happy New Years!!!
smk819 Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 First I'll watch the Giant's game at 5, then a Cohiba Lanceros followed by a PSP2 or a Monte #2. I haven't decided yet.
DocRKS Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Cohiba Dbl Corona Special Reserve and a custom stick rolled from the Partagas factory by a very talented lady.... One of the items Santa brought was a very special 30 yr old Islay Single Malt Whisky - it's a match made in heaven with these cigars. The Happiest, Healthiest and Best New Year for all at FOH....
JMH Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 I don't know how, but I forgot my cigars heading out the door. I was not pleased :-(
skid11 Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 It's great to read how everyone is spending their New Years Eve. Best Wishes to everyone at FOH for a prosperous, healthy and happy New Year in 2006. I'm having a quite one with a few close family and friends, keeping out of the heat. The kids are in the pool and I've ready tipped a bottle of 2001 Taylors Cab Sav down the pan as it was corked Doh!:-( So it's onto a bottle of croser a monte 2 and dodge the old aunty who has to give everyone a sloppy kiss at the stroke of midnight. See ya guys...........:-)
TR Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Cohiba robusto and mag 46 with some Graham's six grapes.....:-)
