irratebass Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Question about these. Have read some reviews, and these have interested me. Anyone had one? Good/bad.....difference between 4 or 5 other than size? Also when I go to the site to order these (not gonna order, just window shopping) it says these are in stock, but in the cigars per box section there is just a line (-) what does this mean? LordAnubis Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I love em. Hit you in the face on the first puff. I find the flavour similar to the D4 but with less spice. The price point is a bit of a killer to me though. 2
irratebass Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 Thanks guys....yeah 3x50 or something.....maybe all 3 (4,5 & 6 for comparisons) Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
squizz Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I have not had the No 6. But I've had the No 4 and No 5. For me, the No 5 has much more flavor. I am also very curious to try the No 6.
squizz Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 From my knowledge, these are in 20 ct boxes. I have seen some 5x5 packs of 25 cigars too.

NicPac Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I bought a box in a 24/24 not to long ago and they have been resting in my humidor getting aclamated. Planning on trying them sometime in the first week of April as that will be around a month since I received them. Happy to send you a stick or two to sample if you'd like. Shoot me a PM.
JohnS Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I really like the Partagas Serie D No.6. The pepper/spice is less than a D4, the leather/toasted tobacco is similar, but the D6 has a 'creamy' edge to it that is very pleasant. I have a few in my humidor...I like them for a 40 to 45 minute smoke. I know Habanos S.A brought these out for a quick cigar experience, but ironically, if you are going to have a D6, I recommend savouring it slowly, at least 30 to 40 minutes minimum.
Jones Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I would be much more interested in the d6 if HSA didn't price them higher then the D4... that's what I don't understand. 1

True, those international prices don't represent value in comparison to the D4. This was also mentioned previously here. With excise duty being what it is in Australia, the price of a D4 in comparison to a D6 is more proportionally correct.
