will tennis ever draw a line in the sand?

how much will they let this moron get away with?

he is an utter blight on sport and on this country.

still, we were fortunate that he managed to recover after being too ill to play davis cup. when tomic is disgusted with you, that is dead set rock bottom.

Agreed. They should really crack down on conduct violations. A lot of players tend to stretch certain rules, and nothing is ever done about it. Kyrgios has been on the news here time after time. And not for anything good.

Personally I would also like to see Andy Murray banned. Rarely will you see such an ill-mannered, foul-mouthed, bad-tempered display on a tennis court.

Wow....It's almost sad to see really. He's got serious talent and potential to be a top professional and yet his attitude ruins it. So many people would give their right arm for talent like that and yet he chooses to be an utter tosser and clearly does not care that he is throwing away a massive opportunity.

I like competitiveness and I think it's good to see a desire to win and frustration when things aren't going well. But the guy is just offensive and a spoilt brat.

The way he behaved, after letting out an expletive/s and asking the umpire what he said at the Indian Wells tournament, was indicative of a person who's yet to become an adult (in other words, he sounded like a teenager still). Tennis is too hard at the top level unless he can change this.

Watch some Mcenroe clips....

i watched a lot of mcenroe - jimmy connors was near as bad even before mac - and a lot of what he did/said was not good but it was nothing like this bloke. a lot of mac's outbursts were aimed at himself. certainly not all - he'd get fired up and 'question' officials'. but there was not the endless obscenities, abuse of opposition players in the most disgraceful way, continual blaming of everyone else, petulant rubbish, utter and total selfishness.

when you have tomic dumping on you, that is rock bottom. and the question of him lying about being injured and unable to play davis cup still hovers. hate saying it about another australian but he is the worst disgrace the sport has seen.
