good cigar is properly picked. not a cigar I would buy blind. If you are looking for this, ask Rob to find you a box.

Thanks But how does it compare on average to the H. upmann #2 , the Monte 2 or the Bolivar ?

One of my favorite Partagas. I'm not good at describing flavors so I'll leave that to others, but if memory serves, it's much lighter than the BBF, not as quite as good as a quality HU2, but I greatly prefer it to the monte 2.

The LUB14 Upmann 2's are very good BTW.

No way on earth did I ever expect that result. But yes, they are worth a purchase.

Love this smoke along with the BBF. HU No2 is right behind these, for me. If you enjoy the other two, it would likely be worth it to pick up a few PSP2 to start with.

So few good ..so many bad ones ..if you are lucky enough to have someone pick you some good ones go for it . If you come across some good ones buy them. This is one cigar that you should never purchase blind. I have picked up a few PSP boxes , they are incomparable .Look out for them in 10 count ...once in a while they pop their heads up.wink.png

I have a 10 ct. box of these. Had two and was not impressed, put the remainder at the bottom of the humidor for a year and had one the other day and it was just as bad. Not much hope for the rest. I did not buy them from this site.

It's in my top 5 regular production when right. They are just so wildly inconsistent and usually off that I've given up. Over the last 2-3 years I've had 2 25 ct boxes which were mostly just flat out bad and 2 10 ct boxes 1 box of which was magnificent (off-hand maybe 8 of the 10) and the other box was dreadful. Nothing that age will help either. The box code of that one 10 ct box was MUR JUN 13.

Defo one of my favourites and echoing above, not to be bought blind. Have bought all mine on the forum and have been crackers...

I had a box that was spot on . First 6 months was really blah... But had a noticeable orange zest to it ... 9-12 months of rest . Wow sweet cedar flavor , was just like fruit cake pudding in ever draw . I believe it was a feb or may 14 box .

Never had another box of p2's after that :(

Has always been one of my favorite cigars...I agree with earlier comments that you shouldn't buy these blind.

Cheers!

I have bought two or three x10 boxes blind over the last two or threw years.

They have all been magnificent! I've pinched a couple from each box.

Rich and slightly spicy with nice creaminess. Different and similar to a d4. Less earthy leather .

I've found the p 2 consistent since 2013 with what has come to me!

I'm not buying anymore big cigars.. I have a couple of hundred and I'm finding them harder and harder to smoke time wise.

If I were I'd be stocking up on these for the long term and h upmann mag 50s for the short to medium. Hupmann Connie 1s for medium format cigars and qdo coronas for medium aging.

Ive been going through RGPC and RGPE plus montecarlos to scratch the immediate itches I've had over the last 12 months. Around one or two a week.

I'm not sure where this inconsistency on p2s is coming from.. Definitely not my experience.

Fantastic smoke and it's my thing with three years but smokable right off the truck too

Rich!
