A friend recently went to Cuba a day as requested got me a box of Cohiba Robustos from the govt store. I gave explicit instructions. .no "good deals" or "my friend works at the factory" etc. I got a receipt and I'm very sure he's an honest guy. The result? Very good fakes. I checked the bar code and they are legit but for HdM Epicures. The hologram looks bad but is still hologram-ish. Labels look off too. The box was sealed. I did a dissection too and it looks a lot better than other fauxiba autopsies I've seen. So my question.. could it be a perfect storm of bad coincidences and somehow it's the real thing? Assuming no, what do I likely have? I think I probably have something that is put together pretty well with Cuban tobacco. Any help is appreciated. Photos attached. squizz Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 One of the reasons I try and stay clear of Cohiba's (unless bought from our host, obviously). I have seen more fake cohibas than real ones!
