Popular Post jwr0201 Posted January 2, 2016 Popular Post Posted January 2, 2016 I've enjoyed cigars for a long while and thought I'd pretty much figurd things out. Then came an intro to CC's from an evil friend. My cigar world was turned upside down. Cubans are confusing. Cubans aren't aged ( for the most part). Cubans don't seem to have nearly as many Maduros. Cubans come in a bazillion different wrapper shades. Cubans don't come in San Andreas wrappers. I've not seen many Oscuro Cubans. Cubans are more popular in smaller ring gauges than NC's. Then...Cubans really are better cigars for the most part (IMNSHO)! I learned here that smaller ring gauge cigars are really good! I learned to go slow and easy with the smaller cigars to keep them from getting hot. Also results in more flavors! I found a GREAT source for CC's in El Presidente! I learned that it is good to buy boxes! I'm still learning about the tastes and caracteristics of the different CC lines. Starting with the smaller sticks, PC's, etc. Like PigFish said, my favorite size is a 42 ring CC. I learned that there are some crazy cool good people on this forum! Life is good! 13
leftimatic Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I learned I didn't know shite about cigars, and there are 11000 people here on this forum willing to share every single bit of knowledge they have just to make my cigar experience that much better. I learned there are some pretty cool people in this world. 3

cigarbigboy Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 that I'm not alone in my passion for Cuban cigars. I can learn, and have a wonderful group of guys willing to always give their opinion. 1
JamesNYC Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I've learned an amazing amount about CCs here on this site. I've also learned that there is a huge amount of information about CCs that I don't know, but that it is fun learning. And I've learned that there are a great bunch of guys and gals on this forum, and that the most important thing is to enjoy whatever I enjoy, not what someone tells me I must enjoy. Cheers and Happy New Year to all.
