raymond5737 Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Not too long ago, we had my in laws livinig in an assisted living place not too far away. They hated the institutional food and loved to come over for Sunday dinner. So every Sunday was "The Last Supper" and they knew my wife and I would really do it up. Carl loved his Walleye Pike and Kate was a "Rib Girl". I swear that my "Last Supper" theme helped them live an additional 5 years.. It didn't matter if it was Bouillabaisse, spaghetti, pot roast, turkey, ham, or lamb, we always made it special. 3

Yep there's nothing like putting in the effort for Sunday dinner ( or eating at someone's house who turns it on on Sunday's) The worst thing is being so happy / relaxed had a drink and a cigar then realising that it's back to work the next day lol
