Bottling Irish Whiskey

Something I came across last night.

The Palace Bar in Dublin has started aging and bottling their own whiskey.

They made a nice little video of the process.

For full disclosure, the owners Liam and his son Willie are cousins of mine. Liam's father Bill Aherne (yes, Bill, Liam and Willie) gave my father his first job when my father returned to Dublin in 1945.

If anyone ever happens to be in Dublin, they have one of the best whiskey bars in the city, it's also about 200 yards from J.J. Fox.
