Cool stuff! I'm not sure on the truth of it but I once read that England was the number 1 producer of tobacco in the world prior to Cromwell taking power, who subsequently banned it from being grown or consumed (Along with dancing and anything fun) and that almost every garden had tobacco being grown in it.
