Orion21 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I wouldn't hold my breath. They have to get Congress to appropriate the millions of dollars needed to "open" the embassy and staff up. Additionally, powerful members of both houses have promised to block any attempt to nominate an ambassador. Currently, the President has exhausted his executive powers when it comes to this. We will see where it goes in the future.
