billh1 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 I recently picked a box of 2012 RA Superiores from Ravi. I was about as patient with these as I am with any box and of course smoked the first one ROTT! Wow is all I can say...I absolutely love the flavor profile of this cigar! I enjoyed it so much that I went back for another box after smoking the second stick. I was disappointed to find that the 2012s were all gone and all he had left were 2013s. Needless to say I ordered them in the hopes that they would be similar. Can anyone share their experience with and thoughts about this cigar? Thanks.

Rule Number 5 is No Discussion of Sources and Prices and it states, "There are thousands of online suppliers of cigars around the world. Some good, some average some thieves. This board does not discuss any. This country has some of the most stringent defamation laws in the world and I'm liable for any lawsuits against that come from threads such as, **** sent me fakes. You are intelligent people. Use the PM feature/e-mail me if you have any questions. Where I come across flagrant sellers of fakes I may post it. However it will be a post coming from myself based on 100% certainty. In relation to prices from sources this can always be done through internal PM between members which the forum supports. It will not occur on the Forum or Shoutbox. The only exception is when Regionals or specific country cigars are released. These are priced by distributors and are uniform and general discussion of the price is permitted but not the specific vendor." I made no mention of price and made no negative comments about any source. I've seen Ravi's name mentioned in this forum several times. One I recall by Rob himself. He actually suggested someone check with Ravi for the RA Superiores for a 2012 or 2013 Dated box. After reading Rule Number 5 several times I don't see how it applies to my post. However, I will make it a point not to mention Ravi again so as not potentially cause harm to Rob. Thanks for encouraging me to read the Forum Rules again. I much rather have this than Zacapa 23, but that is just me
