Looks like a most excellent adventure!

My wife and I look forward to some of these trips in the future.

Ate the whole thing mate and enjoyed it immensely. The duckling is without pin feathers/beak but otherwise fully formed. Texture is a mix between hard boiled egg and chicken. Not sure at what point of the cycle it is cooked but one suspects a few days from hatching.

My parents sponsored Vietnamese boat people & I grew up around being surrounded by home made Vietnamese food & will try almost everything once, but the duck embryo is something I don't think I could do. Snake blood is the other one I don't think bring myself to consume.

It is great travelling with Di. Partner and best mate.. She is not precious in any way, the life of any party, fits into any back street, looks down on no one while suffering no fools/tossers.

She mentioned today that she misses her e-mails ......I will remind her that next week rotfl.gif

Is the she in reference to all the massages and pampering that he had or is that a typo?

Rob thank you for sharing your photos and keeping us informed about you or Di not being eaten by a tiger or

worse bit by the "two step snake". Glad you had a good time. Take care!2thumbs.gif

Those duck eggs are delicious. I get them here in Toronto at local stores and I serve them up exactly how your picture is presented. nuoc mum cham dipping sauce and fresh mint.

Tom, I didn't even know that could be found here???? Always was curious about it - if we get a chance to have another guys' get-together soon, mind picking up some of those? Very interested to try it.

No problem Keith. they are super easy to cook up. I usually get them in Chinatown here in Toronto.
