Kyoung Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Hello everyone! My cigar story is young, as am I, but I know it will only grow as I do! My love for cigars started through my father. After a long week he would unwind with a cigar and a couple of fingers of scotch on the porch. I always watched with curiosity from inside. It was this same curiosity that drew me into his office where he kept his sticks. It still feels like his humi is begging to be opened every time I pass. The aromas waiting to be let out and fill the room. It wasn't until I was 18, that I asked to join him for my first cigar. I instantly fell in love with everything about the process. It felt like a ritual. One that I hope to take the time, slow down, and still enjoy when I am old. The cigar my father gave me was a Monte 2. I think it's safe to say there was no turning back. My passion was ignited and now my father and I smoke together regularly. The Pirámide is without a doubt my favorite vitola (thank you dad). I am glad I found this community and get to further my passion and learn from so many other experienced BOTL/SOTL's. My only regret is that I didn't introduce myself and start contributing sooner!
