PuroDan Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Smoked a Punch Punch this morning and it was an oustanding Habano. What a great stick. Only a year of humi time as well. Wow
dflan82 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Great to hear Dan. I love the Punch DC's and have the Punch Punch on my radar.
NicintheUK Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I smoked a Punch Punch at an event in London late last year, one of the best cigars all year and a revelation.
cpmurrin Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 agree. they have been fantastic and i am loaded up on them and burning a couple a week
bigbwalls Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Got two boxes from our host. Luckily they're both great boxes and I'm trying my hardest to stop smoking them and let them get some age on them. Gave one to a friend who smokes cigars occasionally - he said it was the best cigar he'd smoked to date.

JohnS Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I don't mind Punch but I've never had this vitola. I have greatly enjoyed Punch cigars in the past. As for aging, I wonder if this is the type of cigar you'd want to age or if it is more of an everyday 'go to' smoke?
Smallclub Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 As for aging, I wonder if this is the type of cigar you'd want to age or if it is more of an everyday 'go to' smoke? Punch is one of the best candidate for aging (the No.1 for my taste). 1
JohnS Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Punch is one of the best candidate for aging (the No.1 for my taste). Excellent...that's great to know. Aging for at least 12 months?
Smallclub Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Excellent...that's great to know. Aging for at least 12 months? 12 months is not aging, it's more... resting. When I age a box I smoke one cigar a year to check the evolution until it's ready for my taste. Generally it's a matter of 3 or 4 years, but sometimes it's much more.
meatball41 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 punch punch is on my buy list for 2015. Hopefully they are as good as they were the last year or two this year. the first punch I had was the 2013 limited edition, I had a handfull of singles and should have bought a box or three. It was a great introduction to the marca though.
Laxman Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Love Punch Punch. They always have seemed to age well for me. Had and amazing one from 97 a month ago. Last week broke open a cab from 07 and was very impressed. The 13's are still smoking very well had one a few nights ago. Recently got a dress box from 07 and first one was a bit flat hopefully it was because I smoked it off the truck.
aushy Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 I've had this one on my list to try for a while, I'll have to buy a box sometime this year.
Firebender Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Tracking my Punch Punch box that was shipped on Feb. 6th does not show any progress after leaving Australia. I CAN'T wait to get this box 1
polarbear Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 I love that stick Been eyeing off a 50 cab of them for a while now but am yet to pull the trigger
anacostiakat Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Big Punch fan. Sadly too many of them have been disco'ed. But the Punch Punch and DC are great cigars.
leftimatic Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Ah Punch Punch....The first cigar I ever smoked. Will always be a favourite.
PuroDan Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 Can't stop smoking them. Gonna have to get a cab of these when I can afford it. Becoming a favorite.
