zrotfus Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Only had a bare handful of CCs so far this year but the SLR Regios from '08 I got from someone in a sampler was pretty mind blowing. Otherwise the Opus X double corona from 2011 I had on New Years Day was also pretty spectacular.
TheLiquidGator Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 08 Party Lusi. An amazing smoke. Still had a great amount of umph.
alloy Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Can I have a second choice? It would be the Bolivar Super Corona 2014 EL. What a tasty smoke!
Optic101 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 01 LGC No. 1, Fantastic smoke, smooth, green tea, roasted tea-rice, some molasses, at the end some citrus spike, Honey without sweetness.
egoo33 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 LGC No 4 dont know the year but what an amazing smoke
dvickery Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Only smoked ( maybe ) a dozen cigars this year . Hands down winner '01 q'do corona ... A cigar in perfect balance ( flavour/strength wise ) , perfect draw , perfect burn etc . Perhaps the best ( relatively speaking ) young cigar I have ever smoked . Derrek 1

forgop Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I always like to think that all of the cigars I have are good and the one I'm smoking right now is the best one because I'm not thinking about any others. 1
UpInSmoak Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 MUO NOV 13 Cohiba Siglo II Everything you could ask for in a cigar.
PuroDan Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 2013 POU RyJ Ex No.4 that lasted almost two hours. Wished it would never end... Got some on the way, hope they are delicious. 1
earthson Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Got some on the way, hope they are delicious. How does cherry and toasted tobacco sound? I'm not an RyJ guy (excepting the occasional Churchill), but these are must-haves! 1

Franko Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 2013 POU RyJ Ex No.4 that lasted almost two hours. Wished it would never end... I mait be wrong but I think RyJ r been excellent from 13 till now. My blind box of short c from 13 looks wonderful great construction...
mgravito Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 The weather has been miserable so I haven't had too many chances to dip in to the bigger stuff but POU NOV 12 Ex 4. Just amazing.
gcman68 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Three immediately come to mind for different reasons. Pardon 80th I won when my alma mater won our rivalry football game. 08 Fuente Shark #77 Anejo and an 08 Partagas #4 were great for different reasons. If I had to choose one I would choose the Padron but that has nothing to do with taste more so the opportunity to rub it in again months after the fact.
MrGTO Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I mait be wrong but I think RyJ r been excellent from 13 till now. My blind box of short c from 13 looks wonderful great construction... They seem to be on a winning streak lately. I am very happy about it!
Firebender Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Out of some 20 cigars I smoked so far in 2015, Monte #4 (MER JUL13) hit the top spot twice followed by PLPC (AME MAY13) and QD'O Corona (MUR ABR13).
dflan82 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Ok it is only mid Feb but I have had some cracker cigars From vintage to current production I have delved into a little bit of cigar debauchery as a result of recent birthday celebrations. Loved very minute of it! I have to say that the finest cigar I have had this year to date has been the Cohiba Robusto I shared with ken in a recent vid (MUO MAY 14). One of those cigar experiences that will stay in my mind for a long time. Your best cigar experience of the year to date ? Pres, What has been your top 5 smokes of 2015 thus far? Obviously No.1 is the CoRo but would love to know about the other cracker cigars you have had...might influence a near future purchase ;-) Top 5 for me would be 1) HdM Epi 2 (08) 2) Illusione Fume De Amore Clementes 3) Bolivar RC (14) 4) SCDLH El Principe (13) 5) Cohiba Siglo VI (13)
backslide Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Avo 77 and a RASCC from 2003 are both tied as best for me this year.
leftimatic Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Cold weather and a busy few months have left me only smoking about 3 cigars this year but I would say the Siglo IV. Upside I have been really enjoying the pipe. Quick and easy and very forgiving if I leave it for a few hours and try to get some work done.
Popular Post El Presidente Posted February 19, 2015 Author Popular Post Posted February 19, 2015 Pres, What has been your top 5 smokes of 2015 thus far? From the hip CORO as discussed Cohiba Robusto Supremo (albeit I dislike the size and price...can't fault the flavour). R&J Exhibicion 4 POU JUN 13. We called it early last year as an absolute cracker. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. BBF from SEP 14. They really are back to their best. Anything we have put up from 2014 to current. Partagas D4 (recent HQ offerings). Those of you who picked them up (PSP/HQ/HP) congratulations. The sweetest D4's I can recall smoking. Can't keep my hands off them. 5
