Ken Gargett Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Hahahahahahh........ Awesome! Do one for me KG! It would be an honour, good sir, be very careful what you wish for!
Dara Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Sealbasher land!?!1? LOL! Jeez louise! We give the world hockey, lacrosse, basketball, maple syrup, back bacon and the toque! Let us not forget a giant robotic arm on a space station! Club a couple baby seals..... We Europeans have been eating bacon for many hundreds of years so you can cross that one off your list along with the toque.....you could add on the beachcombers and Tiffany if you want to pad out the list though!! 2
Dara Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I think sweden should say polar bears and not Ikea.. Sweden is the land of Vikings....has the rule of Sven over FOH been forgotten? 1
leftimatic Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 We Europeans have been eating bacon for many hundreds of years so you can cross that one off your list along with the toque.....you could add on the beachcombers and Tiffany if you want to pad out the list though!! I should clarify. That's Canadian back bacon or peameal bacon. It is cured in a salty brine and not smoked. It is then rolled in a meal made from at one time yellow peas now more than likely cornmeal to help preserve it. It comes from the loin of the pig hence the name. And I am afraid I had to google Tiffany and the only one I found was born in California. But I will see your Bruno Gerussi ( beachcombers) and raise you a Jim Carrey and one Shania Twain. Don't even get me started on Neil Young or Joni Mitchell. 1
leftimatic Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 It's the remnants that leak out of the baby seal's saturated fur once they're clubbed in the head, and stains the snow with their maple tears. Maple snow is a delicacy around here. Kids sell baby-seal-tears-maple-snow cones for grade-school fundraising efforts. It's an acquired taste for sure.
cigcars Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 hi, i would like all jehovah's witnesses, hari krisshnas, and indeed any other organisation of a similar ilk, to regularly inundate me with as much material and as many visits as possible. and if i pretend not to be interested, please ignore me and keep insisting. *My uncle tells Jehova's Witnesses, "We're American Indian. We worship Totem Pole. My wife doesn't speak English and I'd appreciate it if you don't come by my house no more..." And they don't.
dangolf18 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 what is maple snow? Haha. Probably means maple and snow, but it honestly made me think of something I saw on a Anthony Bourdain episode. Something like this:
Dara Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 And I am afraid I had to google Tiffany and the only one I found was born in California. My bad, I confused the Robin Sparkles character from "how I met your mother" with the american Tiffany!

I would like it noted by forum ownership / management that the post at 18 Feb 15, 12:58 pm (my local time, as shown on the post quoted above) was not by me. I was not on the forum at that time. Also, as the post clearly indicates a lack of ability to use capitalization, grammar and proper formatting, it was obviously Ken. As the evidence clearly indicates, I present that it was a gross abuse of power by Mr. Gargett, and I hereby move for a 60-day suspension. Sidenote - damn!!!! Why again to I continue to turn down having moderator-powers-of-doom?!??!!?!? LOL.

LOL. although i obviously had absolutely nothing to do with whatever the problem here seems to be, if i understand correctly, my punishment would be 2 month holiday from unpaid work? if i do it again, can i have four months? i do, however, take serious offence at the denigration of my grammar and formatting. i look forward to examples - remembering that on this forum, we are venturing into thinnest ice territory.

khamy Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Someone invented a robot arm?? Imagine what you could use it for.... umm nevermind.
Ken Gargett Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 There. Better. in fairness, i said grammar and formatting. which i still maintain is fully in order. at no stage did i make the foolish attempt to defend my record with capitals. 1
