Ken Gargett Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 another airline down, it seems. let's hope it is found safely but of course, these things rarely end well. thoughts with families and friends. again.
OZCUBAN Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Thoughts with the passengers and crew and associated families flew air Asia to bali recently not a bad airline no thrills type of arrangement as are most "Budget" airlines
CQloh Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I can't believe this.. i have taken probably over a hundred flights with AirAsia over the years for work and otherwise... I hope everyone is okay... this has been a horrible year.
nick2021 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Just saw it on the news today....feel really bad for this, especially this time of the year. Thoughts and prayers to the families as I can't imagine what they're going through.

OleOle Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Yeah, terrible news, hard to believe really.
Duxnutz Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Thoughts with the passengers and crew and associated families flew air Asia to bali recently not a bad airline no thrills type of arrangement as are most "Budget" airlines Air Asia X I think is a pretty decent operator as so far as its ops ex Australia. Indonesian Air Asia is a separate subsidiary based in Jakarta AFAIK. Separate company that's part of a franchise; ala Jetstar and its derivatives (Jetstar Asia, Japan, Pacific, Vietnam etc). Still sucks to lose another one in the same part of the world. RIP. 1
Coolio Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 I agree with Dux, this airline has a good record. The website below is a good one for following updates with non sensationalised reporting. Hopefully they'll find something today. http://avherald.com/h?article=47f6abc7&opt=0 It's a bit eery when your own airline often flies in the same region or along the same routes as one that goes down.
