Ryan on the right.

I was checking in at the Hotel Nacional and Bart walked by. Having never met the man or vice versa we recognized each other straight away. And it went downhill fast from there!

Ryan is one helluva BOTL! A real nice guy. We haven't met, but did a trade back in September for some Alfredo Martinez robustos (which were superb, I might add!). Would like to meet up some day.

I'm in Raleigh, N. C. for Christmas visiting my wife's sister and her husband for Christmas. Had the chance to meet up with Bartolomeo for a smoke at the local cigar lounge.Great guy, he is. We had not met before yestereday, but I felt like we've been friendsfor a long time. Thanks again, Ryan, for the great custom rolls you gifted to Rick and me. Weenjoyed our time together talking about Cuba and cigars and smoking those gifts.attachicon.gifIMG_0675.JPG

Ryan's good people - I only wish I wasn't so sick when we met at Rob's casa party, so we had more chance to hang out and party it up, even during that hectic week moreso. But, a genuine fellow - aside from my fellow Canuck travellers, or other "old time" friends such as Ayala or Punch Joe, etc., Ryan was the most prevalent "new guy" who was checking on me and chatting for a bit when I was sick at the party; took time out from his fun to make sure I was all good, still chatting up about cigars and Cuba. A genuine BOTL.

And we all said something similar when in Havana to what Mike said here - it's amazing that when we all get the chance to meet up with "new" people in Cuba, at how much it seems like we've all known each other for so long. All due to the camraderie brought about from cigar forums and the like.

Well done gents.
