Being fairly new to CC I am addicted to Bolivar cigars. I really enjoy both the BPC and the BCJ but I know nothing about the tubos.

Hoping that you guys/gals can give me some insights as to how the tubos compare to these 2. Are the tubos worth the extra dollars.

Obviously I have never had a chance to try the tubos but have been thinking about them. For now being unemployed I won't be buying anything for awhile. But when I do get my feet back under me I am going to be considering maybe buying the #2. So any info I can get on what others think of tubos would be appreciated.

Thanks

The tubos 2 are much like the PC. I actually prefer the tubos when young to a young PC. the tubos have the cedar in the tube and really take on the flavor. All of the Bolivar spices are really pronounced in the tubos. I am partial to the tube since it was my first Cuban, so my opinion might be skewed.

that being said, are they worth the extra money---Probably not, but I still buy on a 1 to 4 ratio.

If you can find a single I would try it that way first. Either way all three smokes are a good value to quality, strength, and unique flavor.

I don't have an extensive experience of the tubed Bolivar but to me the No.2 A/T might be qualified as a watered down version of the PC – exactly like the No.1 A/T could be a watered down version of the defunct corona.

I have had better experiences with the No.3 A/T, which is more intense.

Then, to answer your question, no, I don't believe the No.2 in its tube is worth the extra coin. But again, my experience is a little dated, I haven't tried the recent production.

Can't not chip in on this one.

My favourite PC. Hands down.

Decent price and Small Club is right about being watered down. In respect to strength. But the flavours are awesome!

Have tried 03s, 07s, 08s, and a lot of 13s.
