El Presidente
Some photo's from the weekends visit to Australia Zoo. My present to Di and her son Todd last Christmas was a half hour with a Tiger at the zoo. They were indeed stoked and loved it. Nice work Rob...in the good books No animal was hurt in the shooting of these photos Di and Tiger. She has always wanted to do this. Good to tick one off the bucket list when you are into your sunset years. Di and Son Todd with Tiger. Todds a good bloke and enjoyed it as much as Di. Todd's girlfriend and Tiger. She always wanted to cuddle a koala. I wasn't going to pay the $25 pro shot. Apparently the Koala was resting. Not anymore. I have to say they are cute buggers. Pick a wild one up the wrong way and they will have a crack at opening your insides. You wouldn't believe it would you. Koala and her joey (the term for baby koala) Di loves birds. She has an aviary at home built into her house with some 20 or so very loud specimens. She fell in love with this Red Tailed black Cockatoo My favourite Australian Animal. The Wombat Does nothing in particular bar eat and sleep. Keeps to itself, causes no problems....seems to have a great outlook on life. I am not sure many of you have seen a Tasmanian Devil? Carnivore under some pressure Down Under. I have never tried one.

I had an aunt who had a photo taken with a White Tiger somehwere in QLD, apparently it cost something like $600 does that sound right!?

From memory it is $200 per person for a half hour with the tiger. They take it for a walk with the handler and "when the tiger is ready" they take some photos, pat it, play with it. WarriorPrincess
No I didn't Oh yes you did maybe have a look in the mirror next time and notice how many grey hairs you have compared to me Seriously honey you are in the good books, as that present was the best I have ever had...I did want to hug the tiger at the end but the handler looked at me like I was insane and said a very calm "NO" My son enjoyed as much as I did as he is a big softy when it comes to animals. Next it will be the Cheetah.... I think

Ken Gargett
i'm wondering if the charge would be murder or just manslaughter if the tiger had swiped D. but then, "tame" tigers never ever do that, do they. "your honour, i had absolutely no idea that tigers are wild and could do that. now, if we could just move to probate." still, at least no one shot it. yet.
