CigarEnthusiast Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I was thinking of buying some to smoke an occasional without worrying about chucking it due to the price. I had a handful of Cremas before and I can say the first two thirds are decent to say the least. Just had a few questions for those with more knowledge than myself. What are your thoughts on the Marca? Do they improve with age? Which vitolas do you like best? Thanks for reading and happy puffing!
LordAnubis Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I like the petite cazadores that i had. All 5 of them i thought were great. A nice toasted tobacco, a but of coffee, a bit of a dark cocoa (ok... maybe it was burnt chocolate) but still, it was good i thought. Like a poor mans Bolivar is what i thought of it. There were plenty of shitty looking ones, but if you get a decent looking bundle they should be good i think. No point in ageing other than the natural ageing from leaving them be for a while when you smoke other stuff etc. 2
CaptainQuintero Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 +1 the petit cazadorez The quality of tobacco used is very good now in these. Its not a lancero but its a decent cheap smoke. Its no Quintero Panetela, but what is!!
1LegLance Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I love these and smoke 3-4 a week (about 30-50% of my total smoking) They are my go to outdoor, yard, working on stuff, 4wd trail cigar. The taste is great for the price and the variety is fun as they range in taste as I don't think alot of effort of blending happens on these. Always good to have on hand for when you want to hand out a cigar that says "cuba" on it to someone who you know is clueless and not worth a great stick.
OchoZacho Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I had one last night, and while the construction does look fugly sometimes, they're a pretty good cheap smoke. Never had a creama but I am smoking through some conservas right now.
Smallclub Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Petit Cazadores here as well. I don't care for the larger sizes, but obviously the tobacco used is 10x better than it was 10 years ago. Piedras from the early 2000's were terrible!
CigarEnthusiast Posted October 14, 2014 Author Posted October 14, 2014 Thank for the responses. Think I'll acquire some soon!
