Maplepie Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Unfortunately I eat mine and Game FIsh and Parks really frowns on shipping wild game anywhere. Pretty much have to carry it in your possession. Here illegal possession or taking of game (poaching) can land you more prison time than smuggling narcotics. Almost forgot pheasant season opener was today. that's what i thought (but not as intense a penalty!) perhaps i'll come down with you one day. we don't get a few opportunities here in Canada that you get in the US. Might make it worth while one day.
Fosgate Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I hear you. It's getting to be the same here. Unless your real good friends with a land owner, are a land owner or are willing to pay it gets pretty difficult because there is so much hunting pressure in many areas around me. Some land owners near me will let anyone go and everyone does hunt there land and its often barren.
rickmccarey Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 looks to be gorgeous weather again this weekend. Quieter one for me. A little work tomorrow morning, some basketball and a BBQ with the kids tomorrow. Sunday morning I have the pleasure of taking Di and her son Todd to Australia Zoo. last Christmas I bought them a 1/2 hr session of playing/patting Tigers in the Tiger exhibit. I will try and take some photos. Knowing my luck it will spook the tigers and will be a bloodbath. You can read "my luck" either way it should be fine. They have only lost one keeper in the enclosure this year. Sunday afternoon a little more Havana Trip Planning over a cigar and a glass of .....soda and lime. Yes, I am on the wagon until Canada/Cuba. Day 9 today. ......not that i am counting What are you up to? Saw a video of a tiger attack from a zoo in Delhi it's terrifying to watch. Be very careful. I hope it's a great experience but after seeing this, tigers are so powerful and no matter how trained I will never trust these massive creatures.
Fosgate Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I don't know if I would call a guy jumping into a tiger cage like that a tiger attack. More like tiger accepted a food offering or sacrifice. This footage is what would scare me.
