Cynon Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I've recently acquired some Cuaba Salomones & am at a loss what to do regarding cutting & lighting. Obviously i cut the head but do I cut the foot as well or just light it????? Any (sensible) advice appreciated!!!! Cheers
CaptainQuintero Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Just cut the head to your preference and light up, no need to cut the foot
ap67 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Cut the head and just light the foot regularly. The design of this cigar is meant to make things easier for the smoker, not harder!
littlepea Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 As the fellas above have said. Draw may start about a little firm initially but will open up quickly.
littlepea Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Also, people bash cuaba...but for what it's worth...Cuaba salamones...great smoke 1
... Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I tend to snip off figurados' tip right at the forward shoulder to open the draw in the beginning. I suggest you try a few variants and stick with what you prefer the most. I recently posted my experience of a Cuaba Diademas and commented on how much I enjoyed it. I do understand however why some don't enjoy thes large-ish cigars. To each his own
