tjohn7 Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 It's also called rehab, but that's not the point.
... Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 True, dependency is a very real issue. I'm blessed to be able to enjoy with moderation without having to worry about it. My comment was made in good humor.

HarveyBoulevard Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 It has been amusing to watch SO MANY threads turn south so quickly as of late. Something in the wine...wait..scotch...wait...water! 3
Maplepie Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 A while back, a mate of mine worked with a professor that would drink water out of a beaker with a handle on it. Just a clear mug that you can actually put on a hot plate and heat your coffee with - very handy in certain situations. He'd have it every morning. One day, he spilled some of it on a counter and it didn't blot up like water (science people, eh? They know this stuff). The whole room then smelled of pure vodka for a bit afterwards. And he wasn't a sad old man, either. As for the dependancy... I just say that some people are dependant on Oxygen!

I remember visiting an air separation plant and while walking around, my O2 detector started beeping and was indicating about 26%... I asked the guy what the f**k was going on and he answered 'the old plate heat exchanger has been leaky for some time now. It keeps us happy around here...'Holy shite! 1
