JHands Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I'm not asking anyone to disclose any sources etc, I'm just wondering because I will be traveling to Europe soon. How hard is it to track down a box of 12 or 24? I had one of these in grand cayman LCDH when I was there in February, and have been rather unsuccessful finding more. Been praying for a box on the lfth, never comes to fruition. Debating trading some of my rare stuff for some just to try to mimic the smoking experience inside the LCDH that day, although I'm betting that with the ambience and surroundings, it will never be the same. Habana Mike Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Discontinued a couple of years back and difficult but not impossible to find. Perhaps you'll get lucky and come across some for retail price. If you do, buy all you can and I'll take the surplus for a fair mark-up!
stigmata Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 ive seen a bunch of singles at one old tobacco shop here in melbourne going for sixty aussie dollars each... and under a mm of dust tempted.... but its not really bang for buck
Maplepie Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Switzerland and Spain has a lot of them around. Mostly all '10 box codes. England has them in almost every store known store.
StingMeadery Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Oh man...just went to the European Habanos dealer I snagged my last box from and they're out! Seriously one of my favourites... The hunt begins in earnest !

Laxman Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Have been looking for these lately myself with no such luck. Only box I came across was double what I remembered for 12. At 35 a stick I would have to pass.

JHands Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Yeah that's too high. I paid 20 for a single in LCDH GC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maplepie Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Box of Sep 09s in Cuba in December. Opened up and it looked like a white sheep. Didn't want to take any chances myself despite them being white. Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry.

SaintLuis Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 I'm down to 9 remaining in my collection. Hoping to get some when I'm in Europe this fall. One of the all time greats for me. I've had such goodluck with them.
Lotusguy Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Never liked them but sounds like I should invest in a couple of boxes when I go back to Germany later this month - shouldn't have any problems getting rid of them if I still don't like them Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
godpheonix Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 had one last year from an HQ box i bought (24 count), code is 2010 i beleive. figured since they are discontinued i'd grab a box before they were gone. excellent cigar but not one for people who are searching for powerful smokes, this is the opposite! i can see why Trinidad cigars don't appeal to some. i like them for the change of pace. its got lots of tea like flavors with some sweetness. been wondering if i should track down a box but from what i see on this thread may cost too much at this point.
StingMeadery Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Yes I tend to enjoy them as the "last in a Herf" cigar...or with several fingers of Cuban rum chillaxing an afternoon.
