rtrimbath Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Has anyone tried any 14's rolled in July or August? I know there is much praise for the first half of 14, so I'm wondering if the magic continued into the holographic band era.
TonyAccardo Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 not sure how anyone can say cohiba is overrated. i mean at their best, they are pretty much at the top, unless you just don't like the taste profile. impossible to be all at top level and that pretty much goes for any CC brand. as for the CORO 2013, smoked only one but it was very good hinting at greatness in a few years for sure! If someone doesn't like the profile of any Cohiba, then they don't like cuban cigars as a whole. When they're represented properly with the quality of leaf and roll/construction, they are the most refined cuban cigar there is. That's my opinion but I think any fan of cuban tobacco does themselves a great disservice by discounting them out of hand just because of their pricetag. To me, a great Esplendido with 10 years of age on it that was great at its inception is the pinnacle of what a great cuban cigar is and should be. The CoRo is a few steps down from this but still one of the best Cuba has to offer. 1

Have smoked 6 of the new band Coros. 3 were fabulous, 2 were very good, and one was very harsh.
