Due to geographic conditions, I am unable to hand select boxes. I received these Siglo IIs from a reputable vendor (Not Rob and co). While I'm not questioning the authenticity, I do have questions regarding the construction. Aroma at cold is quite nice, and wrapper quality meets my expectations for Cohiba, however a few of sticks seemed to be underfilled.

What are your thoughts? If you were in a brick and mortar, would these make your grade? Just curious to hear some input as I rarely have a chance to inspect boxes myself firsthand.

Again, these are not from czar. Box code is GUT OCT 13 if you care to know.

Thx in advance!

If they are underfilled it is HSA/Tabacuba's problem, not the vendor (unless you have asked him to hand select a box).

Agree with you fully. I have no qualms with the vendor they did their due diligence as far as I'm concerned. I'm just trying to fine tune my selection process.....hopefully one day that will be a reality!

They do look underfilled. May still smoke OK, though. I would use a small punch and smoke one to see...

Good tip on the punch. Thanks! I'll find out in about 60 days or so. Haha

Yeah, a few do look underfilled but a couple also look chock-a-block. Variance in a box of Cubans?! Who'd have thunk it? I'm sure they be just fine. Keep us posted when you smoke one. Cheers

I've been told more than once, if you're going to buy Cohiba make sure it comes from El Laguito. Only exception in my rules would be if it was hand picked by Rob. I'm not sure what factory GUT is, but I know it's not El Laguito because I've seen other cigars with that code.

Very sound advice! I have heard good things on POU, including Cohiba with that code.

Based on some really illogical reasoning. I came to a bad conclusion that Box code GUT= POU

I jumped the gun.....haha. I guess we will see
