Jamesuk Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 My older stuff is running out and all my other boxes are 12/13 boxes so I want to buy some now smokes... Cuban only. What should I be buying up? Watches and Cigars.
subport Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 just to clarify: what does "aged" really mean for you? are we talking about 5+ yrs ? or simply wanna get some fresh and young which smokes terrific now?
Jamesuk Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 5+ really. Always up for a recommendation on a new young stick to try too... Watches and Cigars.
earthson Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 RASS 50 cabs H Upmann PCs Bolivar Gold Medals (if you can find them. 2008s were excellent and should be peaking right now.)
subport Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 partagas 8-9-8, lusitanias, shorts cab (they freakkin good fresh as well) upmann sir winston (good luck), magnum 46 (love the fresh as hell too), or almost anything by upmann rass cohiba esplendidos, coro, lancero (my 05 box is just pure heaven now)
Maplepie Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Any Cohibas, really... Bolivars, Montecristos too. These normally never fail with age.
PapaDisco Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 And where pray tell does one find a retailer with all 5 y.o. stock?
Smallclub Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 There are about 190 habanos in regular production + the LEs and REs. If you don't specify a size and a flavor profile expect to see all of them listed here…
Maplepie Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 And where pray tell does one find a retailer with all 5 y.o. stock? H and F, naturally... Brown Fox has a decent selection, too. too bad they're mostly all walk in, though

Jamesuk Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 Ok, regular production. Large ring, available from online source Watches and Cigars.
Jamesuk Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 Don't want to be too specific as you guys might come up with something I've never heard of Watches and Cigars.
Maplepie Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Large ones, eh? Trinidad Robbie Ts and Extras are nice. Get em when you still can! Montecristo Open Eagles would be aged... No one would ever take a punt of a box of those Punch Punch Tubos are ones that always seems to be aged Off topic: SLR Lonsdales are nice. Go talk to Martyn about a box split. He'll probably hook you up there Your country's regionals: ERDM Choix De L'Epoque and LFdC Short Robusto Great thick and short sticks, those are.
Bclass1 Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Ok, regular production. Large ring, available from online source Watches and Cigars. Ok, that about narrows it down.. Lol. You should be a touch more specific. What do you normally like to smoke? My recommendations: If you have the $$ grab some 07-08 CoRo's, Sig IV from 08' as well. These have been smoking quite nicely for me. Upmann Mag 46 is a winner. Have 2 boxes from 08'. Older RASS, HdM Epi2.. There's seriously so many.. 1

Aged Mag 46s is normally agreed to be all amazing. Monarchs as well. And Cohiba Standard and 1492 lines. but that just means they're harder to find because everyone is looking for them!
Laxman Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 08 cohiba robiusto, siglo 4's - 08 mag 46, upmann connie 1's, Monte 2's. IMO 08 was a great a year and have aged well thus far. Dip '2 08 and 09 are nice as where Part series D4's
