Maplepie Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Ramon Allones Petit Piramides. Ramon Allones Petit Piramides. Ramon Allones Double Piramides. Wait: it gets better: Ramon Allones Petit Robusto. Ramon Allones Petit Robusto. Ramon Allones Petit Robusto. Ramon Allones Petit Robusto. Why? Edit: Ramon Allones Petit Robusto.
Maplepie Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 I just realised i spelt the first few Piramides wrong.... Anyways, you all get the point.
bigharpoon Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Soooooo, let me get this straight. You're saying 'Ramon Allones Petit Piramides'????
Rye Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Jer, man. Are you hitting the happy gas at the dentist today? 1
JHands Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 When are these being released I want some lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maplepie Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Jer, man. Are you hitting the happy gas at the dentist today? hahahahaha. no hablo me, eh? I was digging through my humidor and saw my RA RE collection. Honestly, i was puzzled. there were THREE Piramides available and i remember a little link on Zigarren Welt that had a Deutsche Piramide. Surely, this couldn't be right. But it turned out there were even MORE variety and still were the same thing. When are these being released i want some I'm just wondering why the hell these regions would commission: 4 kinds of Petit Piramides,RE: UK, UK, Canada, Germany 4 kinds of Petit Robustos. RE: Andorra, Netherlands, Switzerland... and a few i can't remember.
Rye Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Ahh! I see! Perhaps it's due to limited moulds made and cheaper costs related to using something the factories already have versus commissioning a new vitola and everything that comes with it. Who knows
Maplepie Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Edit: Quick dig through Trevor's site (bless that man). Turns out there are actually FIVE petit robustos. Two more include Israel and Portugal...
Maplepie Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Ahh! I see! Perhaps it's due to limited moulds made if it was this reason, i would love to see those moulds be used to make some Punch Punch Punch RE Canada Petit Punch (punch brand is copywrited in Canada. much like Montecristo in Mexico)
fookite Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 if it was this reason, i would love to see those moulds be used to make some Punch Punch Punch RE Canada Petit Punch (punch brand is copywrited in Canada. much like Montecristo in Mexico) Wouldn't that be Punch Punch Punch RE Canada Petit Punch Punch? 1
Rye Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Yes! A Punch Canadian ER called "El Payaso de Risa" but I'd sure like a classic Punch vitola and blend similar to perhaps the Black Prince 2
Maplepie Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Wouldn't that be Punch Punch Punch RE Canada Petit Punch Punch? Punch Punch Punch RE Canada Lowblow?
Maplepie Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 no one besides Ryan has any further (non-comical) insight into why RA has such a base of these sticks?? if i can get my hands on those German RE Piramides, maybe i'll have a day where i smoke all of these in one sitting...
johnhenry Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Why do they all have to be RE ,why can't they just make it part of the regular line? Oh ya it's all about the $.
Maplepie Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Why do they all have to be RE ,why can't they just make it part of the regular line? does explain the deletion of the 898 and them coming back in German form!! wouldn't mind a Punch SS RE Swiss though........ 1
straizor Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 does explain the deletion of the 898 and them coming back in German form!! wouldn't mind a Punch SS RE Swiss though........ wouldn't mind that either
CaptainQuintero Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Maybe RA is a 'cheap' cigar to blend (the RASS is great value) so it's an easy pick for a lazy distributor? Cheap to buy, whack up the price via the RE program for a Quick buck. Especially when you consider RA Gladiators costing less than UK petit Belicosos. Could explain the deletion of RA, creation of demand then the reintroduction of the famous 898 and corona via RE releases but now with a much bigger profit margin. Cigar equivalent of musical chairs but ending up with more profit for HSA/distributors
Maplepie Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 wouldn't mind that either I as well... box split? Hmmmmmm. First RE 50 cab?Always a dedicated poster, eh Capt? Methinks Rob should promote you to Major soon! Keep in mind that your country jacks up the price ridiculously. And with H&F recently winning the lawsuit, nothing's getting t cheaper any sooner! made sense for other regional being cheaper. But relatively, they are much more expensive. I mean, was there really that big of a difference between UK petit piramide and Canada petit piramide!? Sent from my BlackBerry Q10 using Tapatalk for Android.

Maplepie Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 It's more the difference between the petit beli and a larger sized cigar in pricing but yes If I remember correctly, the RA canada is the same size as the RA UK. Which is the same size as the RA UK and RA Germany? Sent from my BlackBerry Q10 using Tapatalk for Android.
Lotusguy Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I am 100% convinced that the French RA RE Belicoso and the German RE Belicoso Extra are identical except for the band. I could not tell them apart at all in a blind test. 1
SaintLuis Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger.... 1
