Fosgate Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Grew up watching Doug Wolfgang, Steve Kinser etc in their young days and the next generation come into it's own including Donnie Schats, Lynton Jeffrey and a couple other Assie drivers who came to the states to run the circuit in the midwest. Spring is near and that means sprint car season is starting soon. Anyone else watch it?
ptrthgr8 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 There's a track about 3 miles from our house and we can always hear them running every Friday and Saturday night during the season. It's a sound that makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Not a big fan of dirt track or circle tracks in general, though. I prefer cars that also turn right. But it's still fun to listen to, that's for certain! Cheers, ~ Greg ~
madandana Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Allthough I don't follow sprint, I've seen a race and think it's cool. I'm a Nascar guy.
StingMeadery Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 If by definition "winged sprint car" includes Plymouth Superbirds or Dodge Daytonas, then sure I'm a fan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mikec Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Love the Outlaws and my father used to take us to Williamsgrove and Celingsgrove in Pennsylvania to see the WOO. I remember such greats as the Kinsers and "The Wild Child". Nothing like clay and alcohol with a hint of nitro.

Knilas Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Absolutely! Only live about 30 mins from Eldora. Watched many a race there. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
