Ken Gargett Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 it is always fascinating to me how it escapes our dearly beloved and ashes-less pommy brethren that when they mock us for being a convict nation, all the convicts were actually poms. not an aussie among, at that time, at least it is a curious cartoon (and a very old joke) in that neither an aussie, nor i suspect any self-respecting pom, would ever spell "offence/offense", in that context, with an 's'.
