A majority of my 2013 have been great ROTT except for a box of HU HCs. Every single one of these has been bitter (what I would describe as "green tannins"). Other boxes have been very good. I also had bad luck with a 5 x 5 of RG Perlas. The cigars have light wrappers and are bland. I've heard that the dress boxes are better than the cardboard boxes....

A box of 2010 Hup Mag 50s...sooooo excited to get them in and they were like smoking cardboard or something. I was just not getting anything at all from them. Waited a couple years on them and then finally gave one or two out and them smoked em up to get rid.

Montecristo Edmundo's. I still have around 10 left and have tried everything but they have no power and taste like cardboard. Maybe they're fakes .........

i agree JC67. the box of R+JSC's I got earlier this year was utterly pants - i'm giving them some time in the humidor in the vain hope that they may evolve over time. I'm not holding my breath.

Bought a box of ten from 2012 in spring 2012. They wasnt any good for the first half year, and I pretty much gave up om them, but revisiting in nov 13 was a very pleasing experience. Hope time will help you out as well.

I know pretty much everyone disagrees, but 520 and 1966 are both huge let downs for me this year.

I agree with the 1966. The one I smoked from this year had zero flavor!!

A box of RASS I got earlier in the year. Almost all of them were under fermented. Wouldn't be surprised if the batch I got had Nicaraguan scrap tobacco used as some of the filler.

I have to say, the majority of my cigars this year have been very good. But if i were to choose one id have to agree with you. The 3 RASS boxes i received this year have not produced the same level of flavor and aroma as the previous two years. All three boxes ive got have nice construction and wrappers but thats about it. I still consider it a staple. I just want a more out of them in 2014.
